This is a series of my works, the inspiration for which was the film "Alien: Covenant", as well as the continuation of this story in our worlds. The character of Titmouse (and one of eagles) was created by my friend Eva Odinez.
«My initial attitude towards Titmouse — “I’d strangle him with my own hands!” — at some moment transformed into “I’ll tear off the hands of anyone who dares touch him”. As we got to know the details of his story I came to respect him. I even felt admiration.
What else was perceptible in Titmouse was his eternal trust in the world, his belief that life is not only ab

Be Supportive of Your Watchers (continuation)
Hi Guys, sorry about lack of streams this week as I’m physically a bit ill (migraines and the like). First off, I wanted to thank everyone for their feedback regarding the last journal, which If you haven’t read, can be found here: Selective Support (open discussion)
This journal serves as a continuation to that journal by addressing the other (and more important) side of the coin: Why artists should be supportive if their own supporters. Having been on deviantArt for 6 years and having accounts on other websites, I can’t tell you how important it is to be supportive, encouraging, and involved with your followers! I hav

Selective Support (open discussion)
Hi peepos! It’s been a bit since I’ve posted a journal (mostly because I haven’t had any good reason to post one for a while). However, in light of some recent interactions, I have decided to write a bit of an opinion journal and open a discussion.
As the title suggests, this journal is about the issues surrounding something I’d like to call “Selective Support”. Selective support is a rather diverse and widespread issue that affects a vast majority of artists and non-artists both on DeviantArt and other forms of social media. Also, as a bit of a forward, I would like to state that this journal is a pe

It Costs Nothing to be Supportive (please read)
Hey peepos, It’s Dan.
Today I decided to write a journal with a bit more serious of a topic, primarily surrounding recent events both personal and on a large scale. You would think that being in the 21st century, a journal like this wouldn’t need to exist, but here we are. So what is it that I’m talking about? Let’s get some background on the subject first.
As most/all of you should know, last week, the city of Orlando, Florida suffered an atrocity (note, I did not use the word tragedy) when 50 LGBT members in a nightclub were gunned down and killed by a horrible, hateful individual who thought it was better to

YOUR ART HAS VALUE! (and how to price it)
Hello everybody!
I get asked frequently ‘how do you price your art?’ “How do I evaluate how much I should charge for commissions?” etc. Recently, I’ve read a few disappointing posts on how some people devalue either themselves or others’ art purely because it is posted online either as digital or traditional. We often see people with very low prices being taken advantage of by commissioners who want to obtain amazing art for pennies on the dollar without notifying the artist that maybe their prices are too low. On the flip side, we also see people who complain that art is ‘too expensive’ w

I design a vulcan OC, she's doing the vulcan salute.
She is named T'Pom.
I can't sell her nor make a profit off of her (nor can anyone else via commissions or otherwise, technically). Technically the IP holders can even ask me to stop making work about her--because making my own vulcan character infringes on their copyright. (but the IP holder is a chill dude and has expressed that they actually get excited about this kind of fan participation, so I'm not worried!)
I design a very logical space elf, blond hair, blue eyes, blue shirt and black jeans. He is making a hand gesture I call "the space elf peace sign", it's an important part of h
